Karaby and Dagstorp’s Downs
North of West Karaby church lies one of Skåne’s most special ancient monuments area. The hills are a high burial ground from the Bronze Age, with Vashögen as its highest point. From here, there is a magnificent view of Öresund, the plains towards Lund and the hights around Dagstorp’s church. Special dry meadow vegetation means that many rare plants such as pasque flower and cinquefoil grow here.
Lund’s Cathedral has fascinated visitors for over 850 years. It is one of Sweden’s foremost places of interest and most admired buildings.
